A Christmas stuffing for the factory girls

The children dressed up for nativity plays

Well I told my kids not to stay up late
“You mustn’t see him land on the roof
As he takes off again he accelerates
You’d get hit in the mouth by a hoof”

Well the holly is green and the berries are red
A time for overeating and staying in bed

Well we’re all tucked up safe and warm inside
We don’t need no news about genocide

Well I told my friends of the party date
You know I love to see them arrive
But while they’re downing Special Brew by the crate
They get it in their minds that they can drive

Christmas paper everywhere

A Christmas presence in Afghanistan

Well I’m not sending cards though it might seem odd

Well the problems of the world are no concern of mine
We’ve all got tickets for the pantomime
