Don't Bring Me DownCharley sat cross-legged on his bed and gazed at Miller in wonder. ‘It was a miracle!’ she breathed. ‘Tell me again, how did it happen?’ She had arrived as usual, first thing in the morning and found Miller unconscious on the floor in the front room. She had gone on to auto-pilot: Miller’s wound was washed and dressed, his chair righted and he himself had been manhandled into his own bed where he now lay, face down.
